Warm weather

Will stayed home from school today. He is feeling very puny and has set up camp on the couch. Ben likes to bother him so I am hoping he does not get sick too.

This past weekend we had some beautiful weather so Chip and Will worked on the garden. We have planted some potatoes but will be adding more stuff soon...peppers and some tomatoes. Ben even joined in but wanted to eat the dirt! Gigi and Pop are also planting a garden with carrots, onions and lettuce so the boys will get to see how a lot of different things grow!

Being sick is no fun!

We took Will to the doc today and he has a cold...It was the cough that had us concerned..it had a wheezing sound to it and with Chip's history of asthma we wanted to be careful. Will's platelets had dropped to 150,000 from 295,000 in January but everyone's fluctate while being sick. We just pray that they stay in the normal range. He did NOT want to go see Dr. Laue (or as Will says Dr. Loud) but I promised him we could get a cheeseburger afterwards.

Ben is still healthy! I bought him his second pair of shoes today. We have been squeezing his foot into his current pair. He started out with a smaller shoe than Will and of course if falling in between the other sizes that we own...I was just trying to save some money! Oh well, maybe he can wear Will's old ones when he gets a little bit older. Ben is now trying to climb up on the couch..he is still a little short but can kick his leg pretty high!

SNOW!!!!!!

I am sure everyone in our area will have a SNOW blog entry for today...it is a rare thing around here. (I know my family in Montana thinks this is funny!) Will got up at 7:30 and was outside by 8. Chip and Will played outside till 9:30. Mommy and Ben came out for a little while. Will made a snow angel, snow balls, and got to ride on Uncle Robby's old sled. Daddy even tied a tow strap to it and pulled him around in the yard. Will had to get his construction vehicles out and scoop up some of the snow. We did miss church but we defintely enjoyed God's white wonder today! When Will came in he wanted a cup of cocoa...he did not care for it so settled for milk instead.

Will's 1st Circus!

Will, Mommy, Gigi and Uncle Robby went to the circus Friday night. Gigi and Pop always took Mommy and Uncle Robby so we thought Will was old enough to enjoy it this year. We had great seats really close to the floor so Will could see everything. He had a great time and has been saying Zing Zang Zoom every since we got home. Gigi bought Will a program and he proudly showed it to Daddy when we got home. They also passed out free clown noses and Will had fun trying it on! I asked him if we wanted to be in the circus and he said "no it is too dangerous." Glad to see my thrill seeker has a limit of what he will do!

Ben is 13 months!

Our little man is one month older! He is now saying uh-oh...it is really cute! Ben loves his bath...I was reading a book to him with some kids taking a bath and Ben then climbs off my lap, signs bath and then goes to the bathroom door! I had to tell him no because it was only 10AM. He enjoys music and loves to dance! Ben's dancing is really him stomping his feet up and down (and a huge smile on his face). We have a re-check for his ear on Tuesday so hopefully we will get good news! Can't wait to see what he does this month!

Not much going on....

Not much going on here!! Thought I would post a couple pics of the boys. I am trying to get geared up on starting Ben's scrapbook for his first year....I ordered 500 pics from Snapfish the other day. I am trying to get organized so I can be ready for this fall when I have some time to do it.

Will is 3 years and 1 month

Will is 37 months today. He is growing by leaps and bounds! I am having to buy him all new shirts for spring because his old ones are too short. Will surprises me daily with new words in his vocabulary. It is quite funny how he uses them too. He is really into numbers and letters the past couple of weeks. It is such fun to see him grow and develop into a big boy. Will is trying at times but is very loving and sweet. He loves to snuggle with mommy so I am trying to enjoy it while it lasts.
